So How Urgent is "Urgent"?

MacLean's magazine is reporting that out of the $128.8 million that was raised to match the "eligible" donations to CIDA (Canadian International Development Agency) not ONE CENT has actually gone to Haiti yet. Despite the "urgent need" there, apparently it's not urgent enough.

Let me guess: they've created a committee to study hiring a consultant who will create a committee to decide how best to hire a consultant who will decide how to spend the money?

Let me save you tens of millions of dollars, Harper: food, demolition equipment, building supplies, medical supplies. Hell, PAY some Canadian medical personnel to get their butts down there and actually HELP some of these people.

Or is that too much to ask?
